Acme House of Music is a small, independent music shop located in the Laurel District of Oakland, CA.

We have group and individual lessons for children and adults, beginners and advanced. Our teachers have performed and recorded with the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Santana, George Benson and so much more...

Our products include hand-crafted and customized instruments from local artisans including guitars, amps and drums.

We carry new and used instruments and audio gear in an ever-changing selection.

We have a '73 Fender Rhodes, vintage Wurlitzer alto sax from the '20s and a vintage Haynes flute circa 1922 among many other things.
